Our History
Our History
Family Resource Agency of North Georgia, established in 1994, serves children and families across Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Murray, Walker, and Whitfield counties through high‑quality early childhood education and comprehensive family support services. The agency was created to expand Head Start and Early Head Start services into Northwest Georgia in response to growing community needs.
Family Resource Agency of North Georgia operates under Family Resource Agency, Inc., headquartered in Cleveland, Tennessee, a longstanding nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and communities. Together, we remain committed to promoting school readiness, family well‑being, and strong community partnerships throughout the region.
