Family Resource Agency of North Georgia is committed to preparing our staff to provide high-quality services to children and families. From the moment they are hired, staff participate in a structured On-Boarding and Peer-to-Peer training process. This approach introduces them to Head Start fundamentals and Agency practices, equipping them with the tools, resources, and support needed to be successful. Building a strong foundation from the start is essential to achieving our mission and ensuring positive outcomes for children and families.

To promote forward-thinking and continuous growth, we monitor each employee’s development through Professional Learning Plans, ongoing training, coaching, and reflective supervision. These supports help staff identify personal career goals, strengthen their skills, and reflect on teaching practices that support every child’s learning and development.

We encourage staff to pursue certifications, mentoring opportunities, leadership roles, and advancement pathways within the Agency. Whether preparing for lead, management, family advocacy, or administrative positions, employees are supported with structured growth opportunities and ongoing guidance. Our goal is to prepare staff not only for success in their current roles, but for long-term, meaningful careers within the agency.
